Your Privacy Choices

Last updated: June 7, 2026

1. Who This Notice Is For

This notice describes the privacy rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA/CPRA”). It explains the categories of personal information StarFit collects, your right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of that information, and how to exercise your rights.

If you are not a California resident, our general Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data. Many of the same controls are available to everyone.

2. Categories of Information We Collect

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information. The table also shows whether we sell or share each category.

We use this information to operate your account, personalize your workouts and AI Coach, process payments, run analytics that improve the Platform, and keep the service secure. We do not use sensitive personal information (such as health and fitness data) for any purpose other than providing the service you asked for.

3. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

StarFit does not sell your personal information for money, and we do not currently share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

If that ever changes, we will update this page first and give you a clear way to opt out. For now, you can confirm or renew your opt-out preference at any time by emailing support@starfit.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”

4. Opt Out of Targeted Advertising

We do not run targeted advertising that relies on sharing your personal information with ad networks today. Should we introduce targeted-advertising features, you will be able to opt out through this page, through your account settings, and through the Global Privacy Control signal described below.

5. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser. You do not need to do anything else for the signal to apply.

Because a GPC signal is tied to a specific browser and device, you may need to enable it on each browser you use. If you also have a StarFit account, email us so we can apply your preference to your account, not just your browser.

6. Your Other California Rights

Beyond opting out, California residents have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories, sources, purposes, and the categories of recipients.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Limit the use of sensitive information to what is needed to provide the service.
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing, as described above.

7. How to Exercise Your Rights

Email us at support@starfit.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will confirm receipt and respond within the timeframes set by the CCPA/CPRA, generally within 45 days, with one extension where allowed.

To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity before we act on a request to know, delete, or correct. We verify by matching the information you provide against what we already hold. We will not ask for more information than necessary.

8. Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for written permission signed by you and may still verify your identity directly. If you have a valid power of attorney, we will follow the process required by law.

9. No Discrimination

We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you made a privacy request.
