Blogger Katerina Ozeranskaya lost 26 pounds and started earning with StarFit by sharing her workouts online

Katerina Ozeranskaya is an interior designer and a StarFit ambassador. With the help of online home workouts, she transformed her body and decided to join the StarFit ambassador program to share her fitness journey in her blog and inspire more people to choose a healthy lifestyle.

StarFit ambassadors are people who genuinely love our platform, train consistently, and share their real workout results with their followers on social media.

"I was just running a casual page — and then suddenly my reels started going viral."

Today, Katerina has over 20,000 followers on Instagram. But in the beginning, her profile looked just like anyone else's — casual life updates, little stories, and photos shared with friends.

Eight years ago, I was running a small lifestyle page, but not consistently — I'd post for friends, with no plan or purpose. Honestly, I never thought it would turn into a blog.

About a year ago, Katerina and her husband started recording short reels about IT (he works in tech, she doesn't) — and to their surprise, those videos began gaining popularity. At the time, they were moving from country to country and sharing snippets of their nomadic life, which attracted travelers, digital nomads, and IT specialists to her page.

Her content was as authentic as it gets:

I showed up on camera in pajamas, without makeup, messy bun and all. At first, it felt awkward to post like that, but then I saw how people responded to the simplicity. They thanked me for being 'real.' That's when I relaxed — and started posting for fun, without filters or pretenses. I think that's what really helped my blog grow.

The blog evolved alongside her life. It started as a "mom blog," then became a "tech wife blog," and now it's a mix of everything — fitness, travel, IT, humor, parenting, recipes. In the end, it became a reflection of her real, colorful, and never-boring life. Today, she and her family live in Valencia, Spain, travel often, bike a lot, and keep exploring new places together.

I don't just like to post where I am or what I'm doing — I love telling stories through emotions, atmosphere, and little observations. For me, it's not about just uploading content, it's about living the moments together with my audience.

People often write to her saying they feel like they've known her for years, that her warmth comes through the screen, and that her blog feels like home.

Katerina Ozeranskaya — StarFit ambassador

I think that's the most important thing! I'm not trying to pretend to be someone else. I'm just myself — and people can see that.

Her Stories aren't a daily duty, but rather something she does when she feels inspired — usually fun travel clips, family moments, or scenes with her charismatic husband (whom her followers adore).

The main focus of her blog is reels. Advertising hasn't worked out well yet, so her growth is mostly organic.

Do I have a personal motto in life? Honestly, no 😄 I just live the way I want. Sometimes it's spontaneous, sometimes it's planned — but it's always real!

Of course, blogging isn't all positive. With popularity also comes negativity and hate. Katerina has faced it, too:

Sometimes, even under the most harmless videos, people would pour out so much negativity that I'd withdraw for a few days, replaying in my head: 'What if I'm doing everything wrong?' But eventually, I realized — you can't please everyone. I'm not writing for everyone, I'm writing for my people, those who connect with me. That helps me stay on track. So I just keep doing what I love and being myself.

But the good still outweighs the bad. When messages of gratitude fill her inbox, Katerina admits she still feels shy:

Every time, I catch myself thinking: 'They must have sent this to the wrong person.' Maybe it's impostor syndrome, or maybe just surprise. I never imagined I could be someone's role model. But when I read those letters, I know they're meant for me — and it touches me deeply.

"I looked in the mirror and didn't like myself anymore"

Katerina didn't become an ambassador right away. She first subscribed to StarFit after seeing an ad but barely used it.

I've never liked gyms — too much time wasted on the commute, loud music, bright lights, crowded locker rooms. Not for me. At home, it's just me, my mat, and peace. I tried a few workouts… and then stopped for almost a year.

The turning point came in January 2025.

I went into a fitting room to buy lingerie. I stood in front of the mirror, looked at myself, and realized — I really didn't like my reflection. I even filmed a video for my friend, crying, showing the cellulite on my ribs. That was the moment I knew I had to change.

That same night, she dusted off her StarFit subscription, rolled out her mat, and started small.

At that point she weighed 141 lbs (64 kg), wasn't exercising at all, ate a lot of fast food, desserts with coffee every day, and had her usual Friday wine-and-chips routine.

First results: "Minus 4 pounds without dieting"

Katerina began with short pilates workouts.

I started with Pilates. I also tried stretching, which my body loved. All the trainers on the platform are truly top-notch. Each has their own style, energy, and unique approach — and that's exactly why I love StarFit. You can always find your trainer for any mood or goal.

Katerina emphasizes that her story wasn't about instant success.

I just started — with one mat, one workout, one decision. Step by step, I got back my body, my health, my energy, and my self-love.

At first, her main goal was simple: flatten her stomach and ease her back pain from sitting too much. So every morning, before breakfast, she did one workout — like a replacement for morning stretches. And she stuck with it daily for two straight months.

Then came the first breakthrough:

One day I stepped on the scale and couldn't believe it — down 4 pounds (2 kg), without dieting or counting calories, just from moving regularly. Seeing my body respond was incredibly motivating!

"I've been working out consistently for more than 7 months — and I'm down 26 pounds!"

When Katerina got used to working out, she started improving her diet as well:

I took it a step further. First, I cut out sweets — cakes, candies, ice cream, chocolate. Then chips and fast food, and later alcohol. And I did it all without extremes. I didn't count calories or track macros, didn't keep spreadsheets or apps. I just slowly changed my habits. Even pasta I started eating less of — but not on purpose, it just happened naturally.

Along with her morning pilates, she later added evening strength and cardio workouts.

And that's how I spent 6 months — no burnout, no obsession, just steady consistency.

Her body started changing gradually but steadily. The back pain disappeared, her energy levels went up, and she began to feel stronger — not only physically but also mentally. Losing 26 pounds (12 kg) was a nice bonus, but the biggest result was how her attitude toward herself completely shifted.

Here's where she is now:

  • –26 lbs (–12 kg)
  • A flat stomach
  • A toned, resilient body
  • And most importantly — she finally likes herself again

Over the past year, Katerina's life has changed in many ways:

  • She hasn't had alcohol for 5 months — a big achievement for her, since a glass of wine with a show used to feel like a normal routine.
  • She's been working out every single day for more than half a yearno breaks, no excuses. Even while traveling or on vacation, her mat is always with her (she even has highlights of doing downward dogs in airports and the narrow aisle of an airplane 😜).
  • She's fully adapted to a new country — the move wasn't easy, but now she has her favorite routes, stores, friends, and a true sense of home.
  • She learned how to ride a bike — and now goes on 25-mile (40 km) rides! Something that once seemed impossible has become part of her everyday life.

"I started earning as an ambassador almost right away — and the income was significant enough to feel real."

Over time, Katerina realized she could use her blog not only to share her lifestyle but also to promote healthy living — and earn money doing it.

When I first started losing weight and getting back in shape, I wasn't an ambassador yet and didn't even think about it. I was doing it purely for myself. But after I lost about 18 pounds (8 kg) thanks to StarFit home workouts, something clicked: why not share this in my blog? I was already using the platform actively, and I saw for myself how well it worked.

For her, being an ambassador wasn't about "advertising for the sake of advertising" — it was about telling a genuine story.

Katerina Ozeranskaya — StarFit ambassador

I knew I could share not just dry facts but real impressions — talk about the workouts, the trainers, and what it was like in the beginning, the struggles I faced, and how I got through them.

She emphasizes that fitness doesn't require a gym, perfect conditions, or superhuman motivation.

Katerina Ozeranskaya — StarFit ambassador

You can train at home, on your mat, in real life. I don't sugarcoat things in my blog — I just speak honestly. And I think that's why it works. I want people to see: you don't have to give up every treat or work out for two hours a day. You can just start small — 20 minutes a day — and it will already bring results.

Her story resonates because she lived it herself.

Katerina Ozeranskaya — StarFit ambassador

I went through this journey, and I know I can inspire those who think it's 'too late' or that 'nothing will work for them.' If my laid-back story helps someone get off the couch, then my mission is accomplished!

Once Katerina started working with StarFit, her life changed almost immediately. In addition to her main career as an interior designer, she gained a second "profession" — being a StarFit ambassador. And that role also requires time, attention, and commitment.

But surprisingly, it didn't feel difficult at all, because fitness had already become a natural part of my life. I don't have to pretend or 'switch on' for the camera — I just share what I actually do every day.

Over time, her blog also began to change — there was more openness, more personal stories, transformations, and deeper conversations with followers. People started asking questions, seeking advice, and finding inspiration in her journey.

That kind of support feels amazing. Through my blog, I feel like I can genuinely help someone believe in themselves — and that's the best feeling.

Her first earnings as an ambassador came almost immediately — and they were significant.

Katerina Ozeranskaya — StarFit ambassador

I think that happened because I was already a real example of what home workouts can do. My followers had been seeing my stories with the mat, my morning pilates, and my real results long before I became an ambassador. So they had no doubt — it works.

I won't lie — my main goal as an ambassador is to make a lot of money 😄 But it also matters to me how I earn it. I don't just want income; I want to build a real partnership — to grow my blog across different platforms and create content that truly inspires people to get off the couch, roll out their mat, and start small.

Katerina says she confidently recommends StarFit because she knows the workouts work.

If I can help people change — both physically and emotionally — and at the same time earn from it… isn't that the perfect scenario?
