Chickpea Cutlets

Ingredients
- White onion - 1 pc
- Carrots - 1 pc
- Chickpeas (canned) - 1 cup
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Olive oil - 1 tsp
- Breadcrumbs - 3-4 tbsp
- Cumin (zira) - 0.5 tsp
- Salt and pepper - to taste
- Flour (if necessary) - 2-3 tbsp

Instructions
Step 1 of 8
Finely chop the onion and garlic, grate the carrot on a coarse grater.

Step 2 of 8
Fry the chopped onion, garlic and grated carrot in a small amount of oil.

Put the chickpeas and fried vegetables in a blender.

Step 4 of 8
Add cumin, ginger, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5 of 8
Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Step 6 of 8
With wet hands, form small cutlets from the chickpea "mince"

Step 7 of 8
Roll them in breadcrumbs.

Fry the chickpea cutlets in a small amount of vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
