Salmon in Creamy Pesto

- Salmon steak - 1 pc. (250 g)
- Ricotta - 80 g
- Fresh basil - 1 bunch
- Pesto - 2 tbsp.
- Olive oil - 1 tsp.
- Almond milk - 2/3 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt and pepper - to your taste

- Ricotta - 80 g

- Pesto - 2 tbsp.
- Olive oil - 1 tsp.
- Almond milk - 2/3 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt and pepper - to your taste
Instructions
Step 1 of 6
In a preheated frying pan with olive oil, fry the salmon filet over medium heat until golden brown, add salt and pepper to taste. When ready, set aside on a plate.

In the same frying pan, fry the crushed garlic for 30 seconds.

Step 3 of 6
Pour in almond milk and bring to a boil.

Step 4 of 6
Add the ricotta to the pan.

Step 5 of 6
Add the pesto to the pan. Simmer on medium until the sauce begins to thicken.

Step 6 of 6
Return the salmon to the pan and add the fresh basil. Cook for another 2 minutes. Baste salmon occasionally with sauce.
