These 6 back pain relief workouts are gentle, targeted, and designed with physiotherapy principles. They strengthen the muscles that support your spine: deep core, glutes, hip stabilizers. They stretch the muscles that pull your spine out of alignment: hip flexors, hamstrings, chest.

One critical note. These are exercise programs, not medical treatment. If your back pain is severe, sudden, or accompanied by numbness or tingling, see a doctor first. Then come back to these workouts when cleared.
